Mary N. Hazard of Pawtucket passed away on February 20, 2015. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Hazard Sr.
Mrs. Hazard was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Manuel Monteiro and Agnes (DeGrace) Monteiro. She was a Pediatric Nurse at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for over twenty years.
Mrs. Hazard is survived by her children; Robert H. Hazard Jr., Dennis W. Hazard, Frank C. Hazard, and Denise Agnes Marie Hazard Rodriquez, all of Pawtucket. Her son Robert Winston is from Riverside. She also leaves her sisters Mary Delores Doran of Providence, Antonia Aubert of Pawtucket and Zulmira Robinson of Silver Spring Md. She had eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Hazard was the sister of the late Frank and Antonio Monteiro and the sister of the late Pauline Silva.
The funeral for Mrs. Hazard will be Monday, March 2 at 8:30 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.
