Arthur F. LeBeau 93 of Pawtucket passed away at home on November 26, 2015, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Born in Central Falls in 1922 to Arthur & Isabelle (McDermott) LeBeau, Arthur was predeceased by his wife of 56 years Rita L. (Gorman) LeBeau, his son Keith J. LeBeau, his brother G. Russell LeBeau and his sisters Thelma O’Brien and Isabelle Laboissiere. Arthur is survived by his daughter Heather Fournier and husband Ron of Pawtucket, with whom he resided for the past four years. He also leaves his companion, Nancy K. Gendron of North Kingstown; a sister, Violet Viens of Attleboro; granddaughter Alicia Fournier-Lapierre and husband Austin Lapierre of Pawtucket; granddaughter Kelsey Fournier and her fiancé Michael Brown of North Weymouth, MA; grandson Brian K. LeBeau and wife Michele of Billerica, MA; grandson Neil K. LeBeau of Swansea, MA; along with his cherished great-grandchildren Emma and Ally LeBeau of Billerica, and James and Ryan LeBeau of Swansea. A World War II veteran who served in India, Arthur built a longstanding career as a respected banker. His most recent executive position was Senior Vice President of Lending at the former Pawtucket Savings & Trust. This was preceded by a tenure as Senior Vice President at the former Fall River National Bank, and many years at the former RI Hospital Trust National Bank. Prior to his extended tenure in banking, Arthur worked as an agent for the John Hancock Insurance Company, as a project accountant for Gilbane Building Company, and as a social worker in his very early career. Arthur earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bryant College, followed by Master’s Degree at the prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University in the early 1970s. Civic and charitable organizations that benefitted from Arthur’s business and financial expertise include the Pawtucket Water Supply Board, Pawtucket Country Club, the St. Teresa Church Council and the Pawtucket Arts Council. Pre-funeral calling hours for Mr. LeBeau begin on Monday at 9:00 am at the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. This will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 12:00 noon; followed by a burial service with full Military Honors at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
