William T. Glynn of Hyde Avenue, Pawtucket died on April 24, 2015. He was the loving husband of Eileen R. (McCarthy) Glynn .  They would have been married for 65 years on May 30th.

Mr. Glynn was born in Central Falls, the son of the late Michael Glynn and Delia (Meehan) Glynn. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served in the Invasion of Normandy in June of 1944.

Mr. Glynn was in a variety of sales positions during his career and was the purchasing agent for the City of Pawtucket for many years.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his children; Kathleen DeWolfe and her husband Michael of Pawtucket, Patricia Manchester and her husband Kurt of Tiverton, Ann Marie Braganca and her husband John of Pawtucket, Colleen Brindamour and her husband Michael of Rumford and Michael Glynn and his wife Lisa of Lincoln. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Corey, Ryan, Kaitlin, Kara, Emily, Nicholas, Daniel, Patrick, and Katherine.  He also leaves his three great-grandchildren, Finley, Michael, and Evelyn.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Glynn on Wednesday, April 29th at 11:00 am in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. His calling hours will be from 8:30 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday morning in the Manning-Heffern Funeral home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.  By Mr. Glynn’s request, please donate to the charity of your choice.
