Byron, Victory C., 98, of Cumberland, passed away on September 29, 2017 at the Mt. St. Rita Health Centre in Cumberland, RI. She was the wife of the late George Byron. Victory was born in Pawtucket, the daughter to the late Zedeor and Elizabeth (Bashaw) Durand. She was the Director of Nursing for the Jewish Home in Providence, RI for many years before retiring.
Victory is survived by her children, Terry Byron of Trumbull, CT, Raymond Byron of Rayham, MA, Beverly Lembo of Barrington and Patricia Vincente of Lincoln.Mrs. Byron had fifteen grandcjildren and twenty three great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Paul Byron.
There will be a private funeral for Mrs. Byron on Monday, October 2nd in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Burial with be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. For online condolences and directions please visit www.manningheffern.com.
