Robert F. Duffy, 77, of Pawtucket passed away unexpectedly at home on May,6, 2016.

Mr. Duffy was born in Pawtucket on May, 18, 1938, the son of the late Francis F. Duffy and Mary (Riley) Duffy. Bob was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy, class of 1957. He was the former proprietor of the Blarney Stone Pub in Pawtucket prior to his employment with the City of Pawtucket, retiring after many years of service.

Until his health prevented, Bob enjoyed the game of golf with his many friends.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary M. Duffy SSJ of Brighton, Massachusetts and Anne D. Duffy of Attleboro, Massachusetts. He also leaves his niece, Mary C. Duffy Rollinson and her husband Kenneth and their daughter Meghan of Pawtucket. Bob also leaves his sister in law Catherine Duffy of Pawtucket. He was predeceased by his brothers Paul J. Duffy and Vincent R. Duffy.

The funeral for Bob will be Friday, May 13th at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Pope John II Parish Church (formerly St. Leo’s Church) Central Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The calling hours for Mr. Duffy will be Thursday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
