Father Bill Sears is a great loss to our Catholic community and will be greatly missed. I grew up as a tenant in Bill's mother's home, also an only child, attended his ordination with my family at the Cathedral, and with his beautiful voice he sang at my wedding at St. Anthony's ChurchHe will be greatly missed.

We are sorry to hear of Fr. Sears passing. To us he will always be Bill Sears, friend and good parishioner of St. Anthony's church in Providence. Being able to do God's work and service was always his goal. Rest in Peace.

RIP Billy,
You have been part of the Francis Family all my life. Now you are together once again with my Uncle, Deacon John Francis who was like a brother to you. May you enjoy your new eternal life together in heaven.

Love,
Paula

Sincere Condolences to Fr. Bill's family. While he was in residence at St. Joseph's in Fox Point and I was a lector and Minister of the Eucharist he and I had the opportunity to chat quite a bit.
He was definitely an intriguing person who had the perspective of having worked in the business world for quite a few years before taking Holy Orders.
R.I.P. Bill. I'm glad for the time we had. Your are a Priest Forever in the Order of Mechizedek.
