Patricia "Pat" Louise Palagi

Patricia Louise Palagi died peacefully surrounded by family on May 8, 2017 after a hard fought battle with Scleroderma.

Patricia was born to parents, James and Agnes Palagi on April 10, 1959. She is the third child of four girls. She resided most of her life in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with the exception of just over a decade in San Diego, California.

Pat, as most knew her, dedicated her life to the service of others. From caring for those in nursing facilities to educating children with special needs, Pat will be remembered for her compassion and her deeply empathetic spirit. She always found a way to give to those less fortunate than herself regardless of her circumstance.

Pat was the loving mother of two children, to whom she brought her endless optimism and her big and loving heart.

She is survived by her father, James Palagi; her daughter, Jamie McIntyre; her son, Christian Kinder; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Palagi and Jack Lynn, Laurie and Chickie Carroll, and Lisa DeSimone; her nieces, Erica Makin and Amanda DeSimone, and her great niece, Norah Makin. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Agnes Palagi.

After cremation, a wake will be held in remembrance of her at Manning-Heffern Funeral Home on May 11, 2017 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm.

In lieu of flowers of the family requests that a donation be made in her honor to the Scleroderma Foundation - 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105 Danvers, MA 01923.
