Passed away peacefully on September 21, 2015 at Scalabrini Villa, N. Kingstown, RI. She was a life long resident of Pawtucket, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Rondeau. She was the daughter of the late John and Regina (Phaneuf) Nason. She is survived by her son Kenneth E. Rondeau of Cape Cod, MA, her son-in-law Arnold Mattis of Huntley, IL, her daughters Rosalind L. Aronne of Warwick, RI, Rose A. Cardi of East Greenwich, RI, and a dear brother, James Nason of Spring Hill, FL. Margaret was the loving grandmother of Arthur Rickey, Steve Cardi, Annie McGough, and Nicole Crews; the loving great-grandmother of 4; and the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by beloved daughter Barbara Mattis, 2 grandchildren, and 9 siblings: John Nason, George Nason, Richard Nason, William Nason, Eva Paquette, Emma Goulet, Catherine Parmentier, Florence Nason, and Mary O'Brien. Margaret loved being with her family. She was a great storyteller and avid reader.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Rondeau on Thursday, September 24th at 11:00 am in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket.
The visitation period for Margaret will be Thursday morning, prior to the funeral, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.
