Trudy was my mother's dear friend for many years. My Mom cherished their relationship, which was built on books, good conversation and plenty of laughs. We enjoyed her company at our house and at family events countless times. One night many years ago I passed Trudy my newborn son so I could make drinks before our bridge match (she was tough at the card table). The look on her face with the baby in her arms said it all.
Thoughts and prayers from all the Shannons to the Smith family on your loss.

Steve and family,
I'm very sorry to hear about Trudy's passing. I'm sure she and Moe are up in heaven raising hell! When I think of her, I remember her sweet smile and twinkling eyes. She will be missed.
Sincerely,
Sue

What a beautiful photo of Trudy! It captures her true essence- kind, intelligent, fun -among other traits she possessed. I will always remember her with fondness. She was a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother! We send our heartfelt condolences to all of her family.

Some of the fondest memories of my childhood were spent with the Smith family. Piling in the car as the 5th extra kid for a trip to the beach with clam cakes on the way home. I was included on family trips to New Hampshire. Mrs. Smith having brownie sundaes for my good report card. As an only child my time with the Smiths was my experience in being part of a big family with Ginger and 3 brothers. I can still hear Mrs. Smith's soft sigh of "Oh Sharon."
