I moved next door to Earl on Fleet Street when I was 10 years old, and there never was a sweeter neighbor than Earl, unless it was his darling mother. My parents, sister and I were blessed to have known him for the last 58 years. The angels in heaven will have to step to the side and make room for Earl this week.

Our sincere condolences. Earl was a great friend to our family. A kind and gentle man, we always looked forward to visiting with him when vacationing in Rhode Island. He will be missed but will always be in our hearts.

All my deepest sympathy to the family, Uncle Earl will be sadly miss by me. My whole life I can remember Uncle Earl having some place in my life even up to our recent visits. Everything with Uncle Earl was always normal.

The world has lost a truly gentle soul and sweet man. So many wonderful memories growing up with Uncle Earl and all the Arrighi clan. From Sunday morning coffee and Bell donuts to family cookouts and fishing, he was always there for all of us. I still remember he and Nana always at the front door waving goodbye when you left. I would bring my girls over every Halloween and he would have an extra special treat for them. He will always have a special place in our hearts.
