Al was a longtime friend and co-worker in the Pawtucket Police Division. Ever since the days of when I was a teenaged watchman at the old Slater Park Zoo, when Al patrolled the park and always checked on my well-being, to when I became a dispatcher in the dept., I have known Al to be loyal and true friend whose work ethic was dedicated and honest in his public service to the city. I am saddened by his passing and send sympathies to his son, Michael, his family and his brother, Patrick.
