William Gity Obituary

William Van Gity of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on July 22, 2020.
Mr. Gity was born in Providence, the son of the late Vangel and Claire (Spink) Gity.
He was a self employed mechanic and truck driver for many years.
William is survived by his daughters; Pawtucket Police Chief, Tina Goncalves and her husband Tony, and Shannyn Nelson and her husband Kraig. He is also survived by his stepsons; Raymond Young and Timothy Young and his grandchildren; Antonella Goncalves, Christiana Goncalves, Kameron Nelson and Logan Nelson.
The funeral for Mr. Gity will be private. His burial will be with full military honors in St. John the Baptist Romanian Cemetery ,Woonsocket R.I.
