Lorraine E (Elliott) Farley

Lorraine (Elliott) Farley, 87, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Kenneth Farley. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Valerie (Bessette) Elliott.

Lorraine was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.  She retired as an Eligibility Technician from the State of Rhode Island in 1998.  She spent many hours crafting, making chocolates and volunteering.  She volunteered at Little Sister’s of the Poor, Pawtucket’s Winter Wonderland, the Varieur School Library and Winslow Garden’s Library.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dining at restaurants, attending plays at the theatre and attending Red Hat Society events.  Lorraine could often be found attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.  She treasured her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. 

Lorraine had an unwavering faith in God.  She was a communicant of St. Teresa’s Church. 

Lorraine is survived by her children Sharyn Farley and her husband Peter Carello of Lincoln, Scott Farley and his wife Rose of San Diego, and Brenda Gagnon and her husband John of Pawtucket.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Citadel, Jonathan, Kenneth and Nathan.  Lorraine leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews. 

She is predeceased by her sisters Theresa "Pat" Monse and Claire Horrocks and her brother Harold "Sonny" Elliott, Jr.  

Services will be private with a Celebration of Life to be held in the spring.
