John Perry, of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on January 6, 2022. He was the husband of Rosella (Trahan) Perry.
Mr. Perry was born in Providence, the son of the late Jose Perry and Rosalia (DeJesus) Perry. After serving his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War, Mr. Perry returned home where he was employed at the former Newman Crosby for forty seven years. He also owned and operated Perry’s Liquors on Columbus Avenue in Pawtucket for many years.
He is survived by his son John D. Perry and his wife Melanie of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Deborah MacKay of Pawtucket, Sandra Gauthier and her husband Mark of Pawtucket, and Jo-Ann Perry and her husband Nathan Choiniere of Pawtucket as well as eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for John on Saturday January 15th at 9:30 am in Pope John Paul II Church, 755 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. John’s burial will be with full Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. His calling hours will be on Friday, January 14th form 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.
