John S. Kostycz

John S. Kostycz, of Ft. Myers, Florida and formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed into eternal life on July 27, 2021. He was the loving husband of Paula (Mulligan) Kostycz. They were married for 51 years.

Mr. Kostycz was born in Chicago, the son of the late John S. Kostycz, Sr., and Florence (Kazmierski) Kostycz.  He was a graduate from Loyola University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English.  He then went on to get his Master’s Degree at National Louis University in Chicago.

John and his wife Paula lived in Chicago for over 34 years before moving to Fort Meyers, Florida.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother Robert Kostycz of Elk Grove Illinois. 

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for John on Saturday, September 11th at 11:00 in Holy Family Parish, Walcott Street, Pawtucket.  His burial will be in Mt. St, Mary’s Cemetery.
