John Frederick Carney

Carney, John F., 74, of Pawtucket, died May 5, 2021.  He was born in Pawtucket, RI, the son of the late Frederick and Irene (Roy) Carney.

He was a United States Navy Veteran serving his country in the Vietnam War.
 
 John is survived by his sisters Gerladine Tremblay and her husband Laurent of Pawtucket  and Veronica Carney of Central Falls. He is also survived by his nieces Lisa-Carol and her husband CJ and Katherine Mosley, his nephew Steven Machowski as well as his Godchildren Meghan Carney-Hauser and Douglas Carney-Hauser.  He is predeceased by his sister Mary Alice Murphy.

John was an avid New England Patriots fan, loved old movie trivia and was especially fond of the movie the Godfather.
 
Their will be a celebration of John's life on Friday, May 14th from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Manning Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI. Burial will be private.
