Joan Claire (Jennings) Godin

Joan Claire Jennings-Godin, formerly of Pawtucket, passed into eternal life on February 18, 2020. She was the wife of the late Leo E. Godin. She married again to  Louis C. Edmond Jr., who predeceased her.

Joan was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Jefferson Jennings and Janet (Prosser) Jennings. She was employed at Leah and Gardner in Attleboro, Massachusetts for many years.

Mrs. Godin is survived by her daughter, Donna Godin Messier and her granddaughter Lacie Beth Messier. She is also survived by her sister Jean Jennings-Cavanaugh and her husband Donald of Rehoboth Massachusetts. She was the sister of the late Janet Wahl-Thurber

The funeral for Joan will be Monday, February 24th at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John Paul II Family Parish,( formerly St. Cecelia’s) 1253 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her burial will be private.
