James A. Poli of Cumberland passed into eternal life on November 17, 2020. He was the loving husband of Ann Marie (Shea) Poli. They had been married 57 years.
Mr. Poli was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Alfred Poli and Josephine (Sleczkowski) Poli.
He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Cuban Missle Crisis in 1962. Mr. Poli was an avid sportsman who enjoyed Golf and was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club
Jim was employed By Amica Insurance as an adjuster for many years.
Besides his wife Ann Marie Jim is survived by his sons, James M. Poli and his wife Eleanor of Cumberland and Timothy W. Poli and his wife Tracey of Cumberland. He also leaves his grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, and Morgan and his sisters Paula Brogdon and Jeanne Blakeslee. He was the brother of the late Karen Bergeron.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a private service for Mr. Poli on Monday, in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. His burial will be with full Military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter
