Hope V. (Butler) Rothemich

Hope V. Rothemich, 93, formerly of Pawtucket passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021 at the Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of the late Herbert F. Rothemich.

Hope was born in Providence, daughter of the late Francis and Hattie (Dexter) Butler. She is survived by her children; Steven D. Rothemich and his wife Carol (Bouris) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Karl D. Rothemich and his wife Lynn (DeAngelis) of Jamestown and Carolin Dalesio and her husband Wayne of Windsor, Connecticut. She was the mother of the late Frank Rothemich, and the sister of the late Frank and David Butler.

Hope had resided at the Stillwater Assisted Living for the past year. She was very happy engaging with the residents, and enjoyed participating in many activities.

She volunteered at the Children’s Museum in Pawtucket and Providence for over twenty five years.  Hope had several roles at the museum over the years and made several lifelong friends.

There will be a funeral service for Hope on Wednesday, February 17th at 11:00 am in the Swan Point Cemetery Chapel, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Due to Covid - 19 restrictions calling hours are respectfully omitted and the funeral is limited to family only. Masks must be worn.
