Gabriel Cesar Pereira

Gabriel C. Pereira, 95, of South Attleboro, Massachusetts passed into eternal life on April 18, 2021. He was the husband of the late Ida (Antunes) Pereira.

Mr. Pereira was born in Alvendre, Portugal, the son of the late Joseph Cesar and Celeste Pereira.

He owned Gabe’s Grill in Pawtucket where he worked side by side with his wife for many years.

Gabe loved to spend time in his garden and his favorite treat was Friendlies coffee ice cream.

Mr. Pereira is survived by his children, Gabriel Pereira and his wife Shelby of Attleboro, Celeste Fournier and her husband Ray of Rehoboth and Antonio Pereira and his wife Leslie of Attleboro. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alan Klemanchuck, Averi Pereira Luis, Kelsey Pereira , Theodore Fournier, Daniel Pereira, Caleb Pereira, Nathan Fournier and Antone Gage Pereira. He also had eleven great grandchildren.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Pereira on Thursday, April 22nd at 10:00 am in Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church, Coyle Avenue, Seekonk, Massachusetts. His calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-6 pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. www.manningheffern.com
