Evelyn M (Bessette) Kaveny

Evelyn M. (Bessette) Kaveny, of Cumberland passed away at home after a short illness on March 18,2021. She was the wife and best friend of the late John T. Kaveny for nearly 56 years.
She is survived by her children John T. Kaveny Jr., Esq. of West Kingston, Nancy Thadeio and her husband Peter of West Greenwich, Sheila Corse and her husband Peter of Cumberland and Cynthia Hanewich and her husband Jim of Wrentham.as well as her grandchildren Matthew (Teylyr), Nicholas and Daniel Thadeio, Meaghan, Lindsey and Camryn Corse, Ryan, Casey and Kylie Hanewich, as well as her great-grandson, Brexton Thadeio. She is also survived by her brother Leo A. Bessette Jr. of Okeechobee  Florida and Pawtucket and Robert D. Bessette (Alice) of West Palm Beach, Florida.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Evelyn on Thursday, March 25th in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland at 10:00 am . The burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers , the family suggests donations to VNACareNewEngland or Mt. St. Rita Health Center.
