Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your loved one.
Ann was an incredible woman with true grit  and fortitude . She held the position of Charge Nurse at Memorial Hospital Nursery and managed that unit with care and compassion. She was equally loyal to her family. and friends. .May she rest in eternal peace.

Just before Christmas in December of 1966, a tiny baby boy was born at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket.  He arrived 2 ½ months early and weighed only two pounds.  The life of this fragile infant was uncertain.  Fortunately, there was a team of devoted nurses and doctors who nurtured and cared for him.  Ann was part of that team.  She went beyond the call of duty, however, doting over this delicate baby, giving him extra special attention, and ensuring he thrived under extraordinary circumstances.  He wouldn’t have survived if it weren’t for Ann’s skill, determination, and love.

That tiny baby was me.  Because of her loving care, I grew up healthy and strong and remain so nearly 55 years later.  I know she touched many lives during her military service and her remarkable career at Memorial Hospital.  I am fortunate to have been one of those lives.

God blessed me with her loving touch, and I pray she now rests in peace with the Lord.

With sincere admiration and affection,

Timothy Scott McConaghy
(grandson of Arthur McConaghy)
