Severino Romani Obituary

 Severino G. Romani of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on October 7, 2018.

Mr. Romani was the husband of the late Pauline J. (Peloquin) Romani.

He was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Romano Romani and Natalina (Celli) Romani. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. During his time in the European Theatre of the war he earned the Purple Heart.

Severino is survived by his children; Linda Iachetti and her husband Bill of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Tina Romani of Cranston, Garry Romani and his wife Leanne of Johnston, and Eric Romani of Pawtucket. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven, Paul, Darren, and Leah and his Great Grandson Luca. Severino  is also survived by his sister Adeline Alden. He was the brother of the late Edward Romani, Edmund Romani, Anita Lantry, Amelia Burns and Leda Romani.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Romani on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 am in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. His burial will be with full Military Honors in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. The calling hours for Severino will be Thursday morning from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket www.manningheffern.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the R.I. Veteran’s Home, 480 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, R.I.  02809.
