Ruth Pedro Obituary

Ruth I. Pedro of Greenville and formerly of Pawtucket entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2019. She was the wife of the late George M. Pedro.

Mrs. Pedro was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Eli Lacroix and Irene (Pick) Lacroix. She was a machine operator at American Insulated Wire and after her retirement she was employed at Tolman High School where she worked in food service. Ruth was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. She also loved fishing, playing cribbage, music and dancing.

 Mrs. Pedro is survived by her children; George J. Pedro and his wife Bonnie of South Carolina, Karen R. Costa of Cranston and Robert A. Pedro and his wife Kathleen of Scituate. She is also survived by her sister Hazel Lukazewski and her grandchildren; Jason Pedro, Courtney Pedro, Michael Costa, Lauren Pallotta,

 Justin Costa, Jillian Pedro and Zachary Pedro. Ruth had three great grandchildren.

There will be a funeral service for Ruth on Thursday, April 11th at 10:00 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Her burial will be with her husband George in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. The calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association
