They say grief is the price you pay for having loved. Good lord are we paying the price because you loved the hell out of us! It actually gets harder by the day because there is so much we haven’t been able to share with you! I am forever grateful for the life you gave me! Because of you I know what it feels to be truly loved. I’m passing that love on to my family now, you would be proud. I miss you

We have been friends for more than 54 years. You taught how to play guitar and played baseball on Sunday afternoon. And then we would jam in the afternoon. Miss ya kid.

I very recently found out about Rob's passing. I'm shocked and saddened to say the least. Even though I hadn't seen him lately, I still considered him to be one of my closest friends.
There would be times when we hadn't seen each other in a while and then when we did, it would be as if we saw each other just yesterday. We could pick up right where we left off and talk for hours on end about music and baseball as we did so many times at Dunkin Donuts on East St. in Pawtucket. Much of what I learned about Rock and Roll history, I learned from Rob as he was a walking encyclopedia on the subject. I played in two different versions of the band, Premonition (eventually Double Jeopardy) with Rob and his wife, Donna, who I also consider to be one of my closest friends. We had so many great times in those bands and I will cherish those memories forever. Rob has moved on to a better place, as we all will someday, and when we do we will pick up right where we left off and celebrate those great times with Rob once again. My heartfelt prayers go out to Donna, Sarah and Matt and the rest of the Frezza and Renchen families as they go through this very difficult time together.

I just don't even know what/how to express this overhelming sense of loss. What started as a cup of coffee and light conversation 14+ years ago, turned into .. do you sing, you have to come to Karaoke- I'm Dr. Music- you'll love it! Then you actually made me believe in the fact that I could sing in a band... although I wished it would have lasted longer, I had a blast!!! Our endless Yankee / Red Sox banter and our cigarette breaks during practice that would end up with so many laughs.

Music is what feelings sound like... you touched us all with your music and awesome personality Doctor!!

To say you'll be missed, is an understatement! ❤️ You Rob!

My deepest sympathy to your Love Donna, Sara, Matt and your beautiful Grandbabies.

I am so greatfull that our paths crossed, that we were a part of each other's life's, and for becoming framily!!
XO

NO words I say could compare to how sorry I am for your and your families loss. Rob was a very talented and special soul. The jokes and wit were always there. When I heard of this it really hit me in the gut. The things he has done for me, the advise, the friendship, the down to earth conversations. Rob always rooted me on. He always gave me advise that had stuck in my head and I used.He was a man who would listen and give you his own opinion with out judgement. I have know Rob ever since I can remember. He saw me grow up, go through some really tough times, helped when he could, and would go above and beyond to put in someone's mind they could accomplish anything. If someone didn't know Rob they missed out on knowing a kind, friendly, family, all around good man! I will never forget him. I will miss him very much. Donna Frezza I love you and I would do anything to take the hurt and pain away if I could.

I would like to give my deepest deepest condolences to Donna, Sarah and Matt as well as the grandchildren. I can't imagine what pain you all must be feeling at this time. I am in total shock and still can't process that fact that our good friend Rob is really gone. It doesn't seem real. He was definitely good people and will definitely without a doubt be greatly and deeply missed by so many who knew him. I've known Rob for 30 years or so and he was an Amazing guy who truly loved his family more than anything. He will definitely be their guardian angel for always as he soars the skies with the rest of the special angels who entered God's kingdom. We love you Rob always and will miss you dearly forever RIP good man ❤️👼🏻😇🙏🏻

I had the privilege of hearing Rob, Donna, and Ed sing a perfect three part harmony a few times back in the late 90's. I was just learning to sing then. They were amazing together and sang with such perfection that I wanted to be able to what they did. I am so grateful that I was able to see this awesome trio and learn from them. Donna, I am very sorry for your loss.

Still can't believe this is real. My condolences to the whole family. My heart is broken. I know I speak for all when I say our lives were changed the minute we met Rob and Donna for karaoke. The times we all had at Murrays were some of the best times. It was like family. So today we lost another family member. Half my life was spent in front of the microphone with Rob. I knew the sound was going to be good and I didn't have to pick a song to sing. He spoiled us all with that. Even if we didn't want to sing he would put us up. Of course we couldn't let him down so we sang it. So many good times I will never forget. Thank you Rob for being a huge part of my life.

Such a sudden shock. Rob was like a close friend who was also like the cool uncle to me. So many memories of hanging with Rob. One of the best people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. My heart goes out to Donna, Sarah and Matt. Rest well, Rob. You definitely left a mark.
