Louise Frances (McGartland) Rice

Louise F. Rice, 96, of Rumford passed into eternal life on October 1, 2018. She was the wife of the late William E. Rice. Mrs. Rice was born in Rumford, the daughter of the late Patrick McGartland and Mary (McNeice) McGartland.
She was employed by New England Telephone before her marriage.
Louise is survived by her children, Deborah Rice of Rumford and Quincy, MA, William E. Rice of Florida and Stephen Rice and his wife Sheila of North Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian and Amanda.
The funeral for Louise will be Friday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St.
Margaret's Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 11 am. Her calling hours will be in the funeral home from 9:00 am on Friday morning. www.manningheffern.com
