Kim Sherman

Kim Sherman of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed into eternal life peacefully on October 10, 2019 at her Pawtucket home. She is survived by close friends and family.

Kim was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Panatiota (Pota or Pat) Sherman. She was the granddaughter of the late Maria and Savas Papanastasiou.

Kim was educated in English and studied film. She was a photographer and always interested in Theatre. She taught film making and film criticism at the School One and The Wheeler School in Providence.

Kim was a mentor and friend to all of her students, She always enjoyed and loved a good cup of coffee and listening to 50’s music.

There will be a graveside prayer service for Kim officiated by Fr. Nicholas Pelekoudis of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell on Friday, November 1st at 1:00 pm in Westlawn 1 at the Edson Lowell Cemetery, 215 Boston Road, Lowell, Massachusetts.
