John Vessella

John V. Vessella of Pawtucket passed away at his daughter’s home surrounded by his loving family on January 11, 2018. He was the husband of Paula J (Whittaker) Vessella. They had been married fifty years.

Mr. Vessella was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kelly) Vessella.

He was a flexographic mounter for Cellophane Products.

John loved to travel and he truly enjoyed his vacations to his log cabin in New Hampshire.

Besides his wife Paula, John is survived by his son, Scott E. Vessella and his wife Anne of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and his daughter Pamela J. Vessella- Santos.

He also leaves his grandchildren, Coral L. Santos, Chloe A. Santos, Melissa A. Read and Angela C. St. Peter. John also leaves his brother in law John R. Whittaker Jr.

The funeral for Mr. Vessella will be Saturday, January 13th at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in the Holy Family Parish Church, Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.
