Joan M (Sadowski) Higgins

Joan M. (Sadowski) Higgins of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on April 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Kevin C. Higgins to whom she had been married to for over fifty years.

Joan was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, the youngest daughter of Stanley and Ann M. (Grandalski) Sadowski.

Joan is survived by her children; Colin and Melanie Higgins of Barrington, and their children, Logan, Keira, Morgan, and Chloe, Geoffrey and Valerie Higgins of Westport, Massachusetts and their son Samuel and daughter Shannon Thurber and her husband Captain Michael Thurber of the Pawtucket Fire Department and their furball Jake. To be forever missed by Beau.

There will be a funeral service for Joan on Monday April 30th at 7:00 pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 pm prior to the service. www.manningheffern.com.
