Irene Miller Smith

Irene M. Smith, formerly of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on May 4, 2018.

She had celebrated her 100th birthday in January of 2018.

Irene was the wife of the late Walter Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born in North Adams, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Albert Miller and Blanche (Salbert) Miller. She was employed at Michael’s Jewelers for many years before retiring in 1980.

Irene is survived by her son Wayne R. Smith and his wife Carol and her daughter Marilyn M. Smith. She had two grandsons, Christopher and Kevin and three great grandsons, Kayle, Aaron and Ryan. Irene was the sister of the late Pauline Bannon.

There will be a funeral service for Irene on Wednesday, May 9th at 7:00pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Her calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 pm prior to the service. Burial will be private. www.manningheffern.com.
