Ida B. Cartwright, of North Providence passed into eternal life on May 13, 2019.
She was the wife of Albert E. Cartwright. They had been married sixty two years.
Mrs. Cartwright was born in Danbury, CT., the daughter of the late Adlino and Beatriz (Rodrigues) Costa.
She was a unit secretary at the former Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for many years. Ida was an executive secretary at Monet Jewelry as well.
Besides her husband Albert, Mrs. Cartwright is survived by her children; Shirley Bergeron of Central Falls, Brenda Sweet of Rehoboth, Ma. Steven Cartwright of Pawtucket, and her sister Gloria Pandolfini. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Sweet, Amanda Sweet, Jessica-Lyn Sweet, Crystal Cartwright, Katelyn Cartwright, Kimberly Cartwright, Kelsey Cartwright, Melissa DeCarlo and Lee Anne. Mrs. Cartwright also had three great grandchildren, Lexus, Gavin, and Emma Rose. She was the mother of the late Gail DeCarlo
There will be a funeral for Mrs. Cartwright on Friday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00am. Her burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. The calling hours for Ida will be on Thursday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
