Eileen R. Glynn (McCarthy) of Pawtucket, died on Sunday, January 27, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late William T. Glynn for nearly 65 years.
Mrs. Glynn was born to John and Mary (Loughlin) McCarthy in Pawtucket, RI and resided there all her life. Before raising her family, Eileen worked at The Fram
Corporation. She also worked for the City of Pawtucket School Department.
Eileen is survived by her children; Kathleen DeWolfe and her husband Michael of Pawtucket, Patricia Manchester and her husband Kurt of Tiverton, Ann Marie Braganca and her husband John of Pawtucket, Colleen Brindamour and her husband Michael of Rumford and Michael Glynn and his wife Lisa of Lincoln.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Corey, Ryan, Kaitlin, Kara, Emily, Nicholas, Daniel, Patrick, and Katherine. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Finley, Michael, Evelyn, William, Patrick, and Sloane and Anthony. Eileen was pre-deceased by her brother, Vincent McCarthy.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Glynn is Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:00am in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, to which friends and family are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
