Carl Newberg Obituary

Carl August Newberg, 75, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by family on July 9th, 2019. Married August 5th 1967, He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Clarisse Newberg, his loving daughter Donna Marie (Newberg) Shea, son-in-law Timothy Shea along with two grandchildren, Kimberly and Lauren Shea.

A 1961 graduate of William E. Tolman High School, he later joined the National Guard and was honorably discharged with six years of service at the rank of Corporal.

He was employed at Raytheon in Norwood, Mass for a time before transferring to Motorola in Mansfield, Mass where he spent nineteen years. In the last ten years before retiring, he was employed at Cadence Inc. (formally Poppers).

Carl was an avid reader, historian and fishing was his passion. The funeral and burial were private.
