Arthur Joseph Grenier

Arthur J Grenier of St Augustine, FL and formerly of Lincoln, RI died on April 7,2018. Born in January 1930 in Mexico, ME. He was the son of the late Arthur J and Ellen (Ryan) Grenier. His family moved to RI in 1941. He was the brother of Karline Guest of Florida, Albert and his wife Julia of Texas, Alfred of Florida and Thomas and his wife Louis of North Carolina. He was also the brother to Rose Grenier and Therese Sneed now deceased. Arthur served in the US Army 2nd Armored Division from 1951-1954. He was employed by ITT Royal Electric in Pawtucket for 39 years as the facilities manager. In 1956 , he married Edalina Barreiro. Together they had four children. He was the father of the late baby Steven. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, David of Washington state, Randall and his wife Ann Marie of Maine. One daughter Christine and her partner Naja of Florida. After retirement, he and his wife Ena moved to Florida.         

There will be a funeral service for Arthur on Friday, April 13th at 12:00 noon in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. His burial will be with full Military Honors in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arthur’s calling hours will be Thursday from 4-6 pm in the funeral home.
