William E. Coyle, Jr. of Lincoln passed away peacefully at the RI Veterans Home in Bristol on April 15, 2015.  He was the husband of the late Sibyl (Kirk) Coyle.

Mr. Coyle was born in Providence, the son of the late William E. Coyle, Sr. and Mary V. (Cunniff) Coyle  and was a communicant of St. Ambrose parish for over 40 years.  He served his country during WWII in the US Army in several campaigns in the European Theatre, including the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of Remagen Bridge. 

 

He graduated from St. Raphael Academy and was the founder of the real estate appraisal firm William E. Coyle, Jr. and Associates in Pawtucket.  He served as International President of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and achieved the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute.  He was Past President of the RI Association of Realtors and a Realtor Emeritus member.  For many years he was a member of the To Kalon Club in Pawtucket. 

William is survived by his children Deborah A. Coyle of Bloomfield, CT, William E. Coyle, III and his wife Mary of Lincoln, Elizabeth J. Coyle of Brewster, MA, Marylou Coyle, PhD and her husband Brent Furdyk of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Suanne Brubacher and her husband John of Barrington, IL, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. 

The funeral for Mr. Coyle will be held Wednesday April 22 at 10:00 am from Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Church, Albion, at 11:00 am.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday April 21 from 5pm to 7pm in the funeral home.  For directions and condolences, please visit www.manningheffern.com.
