Marion Joan (Duffy) Clark

Marion J. Clark 93 of Rumford, a retired Realtor, formerly of Pawtucket and Dennis, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was the wife of the late James F. Clark. They had been married for 59 years. Born in Woodhaven, Long Island, a daughter of the late Francis E. Duffy and Marion (Preuss) Duffy. She graduated from Bishop McDonnell High School and Miss Dunbar’s School in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of St. Margaret’s Church.      Marion was a member of the Academy of Lifetime Learning at Cape Cod Community College Art Association, the Cape Museum of Fine Arts, and the Longboat Key Art Center, FL. where  she wintered for many years. She painted and did stone sculpture in Florida and Cape Cod. She and her husband volunteered at Cape Cod Hospital for 22 years. They enjoyed traveling the world together. Marion was a Realtor for 20 years, the last 8 managing the Cumberland office of J.W. Riker. Marion is the mother of the late James F. Clark Jr., Esquire and his wife Mary of Lincoln. She is survived by her other three children, her daughter Mary Clarke of Rumford, her son Robert Clark and his wife Patricia of Rumford, and her daughter Kimberly and her husband Michael of Lincoln. Her grandchildren, Erinn, Cailyn, Nora, Elizabeth, Taylor, Bryan, Alison, James, Sean, John, Matthew, Kathleen. Her great-grandchildren, Aidan, Rylee, Hannah, Finnegan, Edith, and Abraham. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Clark on Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00 am in St. Margaret’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Her calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
