Maria Vargas Obituary

Maria E. Vargas of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on March 8, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Maria daGloria Escobar and Jose Silva Escobar.

She was the wife of the late Daniel F. Vargas.

Maria is survived by her children; Manny Vargas, Daniel Vargas, Michael Vargas, Maria DeFaria and Natalia Wentworth. She also leaves her brothers Jose and Manuel Escobar and her sister Amelia DeFaria. Mrs. Vargas had several grandchildren and several great grandchildren

The funeral for Mrs. Vargas will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in the Holy Family Parish Church (St. Joseph’s) 195 Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her burial will be with her husband Daniel in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. The calling hours for Mrs. Vargas will be on Monday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
