Maria Baptista, 95, of Pawtucket died on January 9, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joseph Baptista.
Mrs. Baptista was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Pedro Enacio and Candidi (Lima) Enacio. She was a homemaker.
Maria is survived by her children; Peter Baptista of Pawtucket, George Baptista of Cranston, Miguel Baptista of Pawtucket, Antonio Baptista of East Providence, Candida Roderick of Florida and Rose Marie Baptista of Corning, New York. She also leaves her sister Irene Pina of East Providence, twenty five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
The funeral for Mrs. Baptista will be Saturday, January 14th at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Pine Street Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. www.manningheffern.com
