Margaret L. Miller (92) of Rumford born January 29, 1924 passed away on September 17, 2016.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles Miller and Jane (McManus) Miller. She was sister to the late Frances G. Carr and Aunt of the late Robert J. Carr and John F. Carr. Before retiring, she was office manager for The Sun Chronicle Newspaper for many years and prior to that, worked for The Deblois Oil Company.
Margaret is survived by her nephew Charles J. Carr of Pawtucket. She also leaves two grand nieces, three grand nephews, and ten great grand nieces and nephews.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret on Friday, September 23rd at 10:00 am in St. Margaret's Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. www.manningheffern.com.
