Louise M. (Benoit) Abate, 89, of Pawtucket, passed away Monday, April 25th at Mt. St. Rita’s Health Center in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Abate. Born in Groton, CT, she was the daughter of the late Camille L. Benoit and Rose D. (LeMay) Benoit.
Louise lived in Pawtucket most of her life and worked at some of the finest jewelry manufacturers around including the Nulee Company, Spiedel and Bulova. She is survived by her sisters, Belva Grimley and Lois Rachiele as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Claire Melchert.
The funeral and burial for Mrs. Abate will be private. Arrangements made by the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI.
