Mello, Louis M., 81 of Talcott Avenue, Pawtucket passed away on June 27, 2017.  He was the husband of the late Helen T. (Kiley) Mello.  Louis was born in North Providence, a son to the late Elias and Elizabeth (McKenna) Mello.

After serving his country in the U.S. Air Force Security Service (Silent Warriors), he owned and operated John Rich Shoe Company.  He was also the CEO of Stuffco International in Fall River, MA.  He was known for his love of cooking, his dog, fine bourbon and being surrounded by his wife and family.

Louis is survived by his children, Kiley Reid and his wife Marilyn from Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelen Reid-Rosaki and her husband Arthur from Cranston, RI, Kerry Reid from Lincoln, RI, Louis Mello from Portsmouth, NH, Craig Mello and his wife Lynne from Seekonk, MA, fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Hazel Andreozzi, Sandra Arrighi, Mary Sousa and a brother Michael Mello.

Mr. Mello’s funeral will be Saturday, July 1st at 9:00 AM from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, 103 Pine Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Mt.
