Kathleen McConaghy, 70, of Pawtucket passed away at her home on September 23, 2016. Kathleen was the wife of retired Pawtucket Police Captain Patrick J. McConaghy Sr.
Mrs. McConaghy was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Eugene Monaghan and Cecilia (Kearns) Monaghan. She was a clerk for the Rhode Island Secretary of State’s Office and the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal.
Besides her husband, Kathleen is survived by her children; Patrick J. McConaghy Jr. and his wife Michelle of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, Kellyann Anderson and her husband John of Riverside and Kerri Rodrigues and her husband Steve of Harrisville. Kathleen is also survived by her sister, Sr. Mary Monaghan R.S.M. of Riverside, her brother Joseph Monaghan and his wife Barbara of Warwick, eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Kathleen will be Wednesday, September 30th at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Pine Street Pawtucket at 10:00.
The calling hours for Mrs. McConaghy will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. www.manningheffern.com.
