Son of the late Albert P. Gendron and Bertha (Lalime) Gendron.

A proud Army veteran, Hank
was a licensed over the road tractor trailer driver and also employed by Colfax, Pawtucket, RI for many years. He worked after retirement for Coastal International Trucks, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was an enormous fan of professional boxing and both college and professional football, especially Notre Dame and the New England Patriots. He attempted every week to win the Powerball jackpot.

Hank was the loving husband of Sandra (Cardillo) Gendron. He was the adored Dad of Nicia Ventetuolo and her husband Jared, the best buddy of his cherished grandson, Jacob Ventetuolo, and the beloved brother of Monica Ethier. He also leaves a nephew, Richard Ethier, and two nieces, Denise Caver and Michelle Doyle and many friends. He was the uncle of the late Monique (Ethier) Bowen.

We thank the entire staff of the VA medical center in Providence for their kind, compassionate, and unending support, especially Dr. John Simoes and the entire Podiatry team, Dr. Nancy Freeman, and Dr. Sharon Rounds, and the entire team of nurses and doctors in the VA ICU for their remarkable skill.
We also wish to extend our thanks to Dr. Felicia Meila for her many years of exceptional care and kindness, and Gary Lamontagne, RN, of The Miriam Hospital Intensive Care Unit for exceptional care on 3 separate hospitalizations.

Thank you to all the Veterans who walk through the door of the VA Medical Center each day, everyone who offered help or a kind word; your service is greatly appreciated.

The funeral for Hank will be Tuesday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There  will be a Mass of Christion Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston,with full Military Honors.The calling hours for Hank will be Monday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
