Frances E. Burke, of Pawtucket passed away on January 21, 2015. She was the loving wife of Francis Burke. They had been married 61 years.
Mrs. Burke was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Alexander Matonis and Rita (Lacroix) Matonis. She was a salesperson for K Mart for many years.
Besides her husband Francis, Mrs. Burke is survived by her children; Edward J. Burke of Manville, Cynthia A. Gabarra and her husband Alfred of Barrington, Sandra J. Fitton and her husband Dave of East Providence, and Sheila F. Burke of New York. She also leaves her grandchildren, Eric, Jill, David, Shane, Sean, Melany, and Evan. Mrs. Burke has two great grandchildren, Trinity and Mason.
She was the mother of the late Donna Burke and Susan Burke.
The Funeral for Frances will be Saturday at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport avenue Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
