Eileen S. “Sis” Barker, of Pawtucket, died on February 27, 2015. She was the wife of the late Allen P. Barker.
Mrs. Barker was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late John Slavin and Mary (McCormick) Slavin. She was employed by the Pawtucket School System as an Elementary school teacher for over twenty five years.
She is survived by her niece, Elizabeth S. Brown and her husband Ray of Uxbridge Ma.
Mrs. Barker was a long time member of the Pawtucket Country Club. She was also active in the Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club for many years.
The funeral for Mrs. Barker will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. The calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-5 pm in the funeral home.
