Dorothy L. Angell, 86 of Rumford, RI, devoted wife and mother, passed away on April 4, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Home and Hospice Center of RI surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Dorothy L. Swanson and Thomas V. Wynne. She devoted her life to taking care of her children and grandchildren, and is survived by her husband of 66 years, Earl E. Angell. She leaves two sons, Dennis Angell and his wife Pam of Cranston, RI, Thomas Angell and his wife Tracie of Richmond, RI and two daughters, Susan Angell-Boutin and her husband Leo of Cumberland, RI and Ann Saisselin and her husband Paul of Seekonk, MA, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late James Wynne of Seekonk, MA, and aunt to Gail Wynne and Joan Thomas.
The funeral for Dorothy will be Thursday at 9:00 am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
