Donna M. Campbell, 71, of Pawtucket passed into eternal life on January 13, 2017. She was the wife of the late Richard Campbell for over fifty three years.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Waltham, MA, the daughter of the late Antonio Zulla and Rita (Vorse) Lambert. She was a supervisor at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for many years.
Donna truly loved her family and her pets. She was always happiest surrounded by her six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her beloved cat Pepper and her red tail parrot Oscar.
A lover of dance, Donna had her own unique style of Jazz and tap reminiscent of her lessons in both as a child. She also enjoyed soul music, especially Al Green, the Supremes and James Brown.
Donna was always stylish, always dressed to the max, a real diva. A lot of her friends and family called her Hondi, and she was always the life of the party
She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Campbell Tremblay and Carol Campbell both of Pawtucket. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Vorse and his wife Vivian of Smithfield and Joseph Vorse of Pawtucket and her sister Dawn McLaughlin of Pawtucket. Donna had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Richard Campbell Jr.
There will be a funeral for Donna on Wednesday, January 18th at 12:00 noon. Her calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 11:00 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.
