Rancourt, Daniel T. "Danny" 55, passed away on Oct. 31, 2015 after a brief illness.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane Rancourt, his step-daughters Melissa Jobe (Sulsay) and Tina Thurber and his four step-granddaughters.

Danny was dearly loved by his parents, Rene and Jane Rancourt of Pawtucket. He was the older brother to Christine Rancourt Bruzzi (Joseph), Stephanie Hammond (Robert), and Stephen Rancourt (Jacqueline). And, he was "Uncle Danny" to five nephews and nieces.

Danny proudly served our country as a mechanic in the U.S. Army. He enjoying fishing and was an avid fan of the Bruins and Nascar.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Danny will be held at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 211 Sabin St., Pawtucket on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at 10:00 am.  Internment with Military Honors will follow immediately at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.  The calling hours for Mr. Rancourt will be on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 5-8 pm in the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket.  In lieu of flowers, gifts made in memory of Danny to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence RI 02904 or to The American Cancer Society, 222 Richmond St. Providence, RI  02903 will be appreciated.

Danny's family would like to thank Home & Hospice Care, Orchard View Nursing Home, and the VA for their care and compassion during his and their time of need.
