Carl Keith Alberg

Carl K. Alberg of Pawtucket died on June 17, 2015. He was the son of the late Carl Heinz and Evelyn (Potuchek) Alberg.

Born in Pawtucket, Carl lived there his whole life until moving to Westport to care for his parents in their later years. 

Carl worked as an Operating Room Tech at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for 40 years, and over the years gave many hours of volunteer time to the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts, the American Heart Association, AYUSA (an international student exchange organization).

 Carl is survived by his brother Alan Alberg and sister-in-law Lisi of Westport, Massachusetts, his son Christopher and grandsons Erich and Scott Alberg of Westwood Massachusetts, his former wife Doris Alberg of Lincoln, RI, and his former daughter-in-law Nina Schiarizzi of Norwood, Ma. He also leaves his nieces, Jessica and Valerie Alberg.

There will be a funeral service for Mr. Alberg on Saturday, June 27th at 11:00 am in the Manning-Heffern Funeral home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The visitation for Carl will be Saturday morning from 9:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service.

The family kindly requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home. For those who would like to make a memorial donation in his name, information will be provided at the visiting hours.
