Athanasios George Kotubas of Attleboro died on February 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Elani (Bankowski) Kotubas. They had been married for over thirty years.
Mr. Kotubas was born in Greece, the son of Georgia (Maroudas) Kotubas and the late George Kotubas. He owned and operated the 152 Pizza Restaurant in Attleboro.
Besides his wife Elani, Athanasios is survived by his children; Konstantinos Kotubas and Georgina Kotubas, both of Attleboro. He is also survived by his sister Sevasti Bloumbas of Greece.
There will be a funeral service for Mr. Kotubas on Monday, February 20th at 11:00 am in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street, Pawtucket. The family will be receiving family and friends from 10:00 am prior to the service. His burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.
